What ratio is best for profile pictures / DPs?
1:1 square — and if your DP displays in a circle (WhatsApp, X), tick Circle Crop and keep the face in the middle 60% so nothing important gets clipped.
Does cropping reduce quality?
The kept pixels are copied 1:1 at full quality. Cropping just discards the outside — the inside is untouched.
Can I crop a screenshot to just one part?
